How to hide your X cursor. (There was a real reason for finding this out!)

Create a file "empty.xbm":

#define empty_width 1
#define empty_height 1
#define empty_x_hot 0
#define empty_y_hot 0
static char empty_bits[] = {
 0x00, };

then hide the cursor with xsetroot -cursor empty.xbm empty.xbm
