Jan, if you're reading, you might like to know that I've adopted floatbg for Debian, and made a small change that fixes a seven-year-old bug in the process (floatbg will now refuse to run if it thinks there's another floatbg already talking to the X server; avoids nasty colour-flashing). I tried your nl.ibm.com and cwi.nl addresses but they bounce.
