The other day, I knocked my portable hard disk (for home PC backups) off the top of the filing cabinet and it fell about five feet to the floor (crash). Amazingly, gravity didn't win - the disk still works and I was able to restore a file from it yesterday.

On Saturday, my car lit a warning light which I didn't recognise - I had to look it up in the manual. "Warning! Exhaust system fault. Your emissions may be affected - consult a dealer immediately." I ignored my emissions and carried on to Tesco's, cursing technology and fickle vehicles all the way. Today the light is not lit! Everything's fine! (I hope...)

The overall verdict is "too weird".

There's a crop pig in a field near work - you can see it from the A11 southbound at the A1301 exit (it's directly in front of you!)
